To reaching goals, even easier to reach if those goals are on a low shelf.

It’s that time of year again, when we ( meaning me, with me wishing I was speaking of someone else ) think about the new year ahead, and all that was won and lost in the last year. Admittedly, I’m not great at completing most goals I make for myself. My reasons vary, from bad time management to laziness to low self esteem to the lack of donuts to fuel me. Ok, the last one wasn’t true, but it might well have been and could have been used as an actual reason, so, damn you custard filled sugar coated!!!!

Now thinking of how much I like custard donuts ...

Now back! On to how much we all need to find a purpose this year. The world is upside down, run by sociopaths, the so called “ conspiracy theorists “ are now more like the “ spoiler alert “ people, and were all in desperate need of human contact. What will your purpose be? Will it be more " me " time? Will it be volunteering? Going keto again? Trying yoga? Learning how to wallpaper? Squashing the urge to yell out " USE YOUR BLINKER YOU TW*T!!! " every time you're cut off mid traffic light? Petting more puppies? Whatever it is, make it positive, make it yours, and OWN IT.

I have put on my list to blog more often, and to start running. I felt better when I started running mid Covid, and in all the worldwide furore of 2021 I stopped. There was no reason except for falling into ingrained habits which is a weak ass excuse. Then I was at a point where I said to myself that I didn't want anyone outside the gym see me in my workout clothes. Keep in mind that picture is also pretty accurate. However, of all the embarrassing events in my life, I'm hardly ashamed of strangers now seeing me in my leggings. As for blogging, I can't make any guarantees that this blog will be revelatory, jaw dropping, or fulfil any space on a to-do list. However, I can guarantee that it will always be from the heart, and occasionally sarcastic.

Here's to making and keeping your goals this year. Good Luck!
